Spectators' Council

The Spectators’ Council is a pilot initiative in its first edition. In February, we launched a call for volunteers to get involved in re-imagining the Masca Theater. After receiving over a hundred applications, significantly exceeding our expectations, we began to put together an all-round diverse team.

Thus, our Spectators’ is composed of 14 theater lovers of all ages and occupations: from high school and college students, to psychotherapists, parents, members of NGU, communication experts and artists.

In the first meetings, scheduled on a monthly basis, we managed to define a friendly and direct relationship, in which we were able to communicate to each other our theatrical landmarks, expectations and, of course, a little behind the scenes of Masca Theater. We advised each other about the artists and the themes we plan to tackle in the next season and we managed to form a mini-community of trustworthy people, who surprised us with their enthusiasm and involvement.

This is just the beginning: the Spectators’ Council in this form will remain our core group for the next season, and the project is one that we intend to continue from now on.
