HELIX for Masca Theatre. Mini festival for the neighborhood
Behind the mask we are all the same. Vacations meant getting outside for all of us, in grandma’s garden was the title of a million compositions, most barbecues were about gardens, about outside. However much we may dislike the words ecology, climate responsibility, recycling, they are just another declaration of love for a bigger garden, a garden we all share. Today we cannot take care of the whole garden of Bucharest, but tomorrow we can take care of the Masca Theater garden, your garden.
We’re opening our garden to all our neighbors and spectators for 3 days, September 20-22.
After spending the whole vacation in the garden, we want to show you the final results and enjoy our garden together. We have prepared three days full of community activities, responsibility for nature and art.
Admission costs a plant brought from home (or soil, planters, seedlings), which you can continue to enjoy when you visit. Which you can even care for from the theater.
P.S. If you come, it helps us a lot if you fill in the form so we can properly prepare for each activity.

WHAT KIND OF PLANTS HELP US AS DONATIONS?
1. Don’t carry the tree out of the garden!
Smaller potted plants help. For reasons of space, the ideal is a plant no more than 1 meter tall.
Unless you have a lemon or orange tree (the reason is a surprise).
2. Indoor plants
We only have indoor space left for the donated plants, so we hope to adopt more houseplants, depending on what you have on your balcony.
To make it easier for us and you, make sure you bring the plant in a pot.
3. Gardening materials
We could use herb, honey or meadow plant seeds, but not lawn. Otherwise, we would appreciate any donations of fertile soil or pots (we will certainly need them).
4. Not into vegetation? Other invitation materials
These days, we’ll use acrylic colors and markers together (no crayons, please). We’ll provide the supplies, but donations are welcome, especially if you have a favorite color you want to write poems with.
