According to the Law no. 361/2022 on the protection of whistleblowers in the public interest, a whistleblower in the public interest is a natural person who makes a report or publicly discloses information on violations of the law, obtained in a professional context.
Persons reporting violations of the law, which have occurred or are likely to occur within the Masca Theater, have the following means of reporting:
a. in writing, on a mapto the Registry. The report shall be placed in a sealed envelope labeled “Reporting Violations of Law”. The report shall not be opened and shall be registered by stamping the envelope with the registration number and forwarded to the person responsible for following up the progress of the report.
b. in electronic formatat avertizare@masca.ro; the e-mail address will be managed by the person in charge of the follow-up of the reporting.
c. by face-to-face meeting at the request of the public interest warning. In this case a record will be made. The Public Interest Whistleblower shall have the opportunity to verify, rectify and agree to the Record of Record by signing it. If the Public Interest Whistleblower does not consent to the transcript of the report, he or she shall be directed to report in writing, on paper or in electronic format.
The Masca Theater ensures, at all times, access to at least one means of reporting.
Whistleblowers may choose to use internal and external channels, provided that internal channels are used first in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law.
