Masca's Hub

Masca Theatre is one of the hosts of the Urboteca fellowship, edition 2024.
The project involves researching and proposing solutions and ideas to help us form the Masca Hub, a cultural center for our sector that emphasizes sustainability, community accessibility and resilience.

A team of students and specialists in the fields of urban planning, architecture, visual arts, anthropology and sociology contribute to the shaping and rethinking of our institution in order to serve the local community. Through this initiative, we aim to take the first steps towards becoming the first ecological theater in Romania, as well as a cultural and community landmark for those who are close to us.

We are nearing the end of the qualitative analysis phase and will now implement the things we learn from our collaborators. Urboteca is a participatory urban planning lab focusing on Bucharest.
